My buddy and I played through Shenmue, and when I finally got my Dreamcast I completed Shenmue 2. I still play it now, the atmosphere of Hong Kong in the 1980s is just fantastic.

Castle of Illusion on the Mega Drive was my first Sega game - still one of my absolute favourites. Crazy Taxi in the arcade and on the Dreamcast are just perfect, too. Dopamine hit deluxe! 🤩

Desert Strike on the Mega Drive was awesome, fond memories playing that with my dad. Infact he was over the other week and had a shot of it. Was his first time playing it in about 33 years.

Castle of Illusion for the Mega Drive. I remember how impressed I was by the graphics back in the day.

Sonic on the md was my first Sega encounter.... As a classic I loved try thunderhawk on Sega cd or thunderhawk 2 on saturn... I wish they would remaster these for modern consoles

I got the Dreamcast with Soul Calibur… and no memory card. I’ve never been a big fighting game fan, but I fell in love with that game. I unlocked all the characters countless times before I finally got a memory card. I still consider it one of my favourite games. I’ve been playing video games since the late 80’s and there’s something special about the Dreamcast to me, so many great games. They rereleased Soul Calibur for the 360 at one point, but they removed a bunch of the single player modes for some reason.

Master system was the first real console I had, still got a soft spot for those games, I remember me and my dad trying to beat batman returns and Alex the kidd lol Then when we got a mega drive, we'd play the two player racing mode on Sonic 2 all the time, I always used to die on the jungle level cos I was impatient 🤣 As I got older we'd try and play through desert and jungle strike and stuff like that, but the one game we must have played through a hundred times was Gunstar Heroes, still play that game to this day 👍 Ended up getting a SNES later but I've always been a sega kid at hea

The Megadrive will always be my favourite when it comes to Sega and certainly up there with my all time favourite consoles but I'm hoping the Master System gets some more playtime on this. Cracking little machine. Shinobi, R-type, sonic 1 and 2, hang on and many more I have fond memories of. It even had a bash at Streets Of Rage, which wasn't too bad.

For me, it's mainly the arcade stuff, more than the console games. But if I need a quick gaming fix, the original Outrun or the 2006 remake are a go to. Cheers mate.

@davemoylemusic

There is to many to mention but if I had to pick some off the top of my head it would be Alex kidd on the Master System, Road Rash 2 on the Megadrive, Alien Trilogy on the Sega Saturn. Played that with my uncle the very first day it came out and Dreamcast would be... Metropolis Street Racer 👍

Alien Storm was and is still a cracking game, it mixes up the gameplay from side scrolling beat'em'up to sections of first person shooter. I've also got a soft spot for Sonic the Hedgehog on the Master System, I actually preferred it over the MegaDrive version.

I'd say Hang On, Super Hang On, Space Harrier, OutRun, Afterburner in the Arcade kinda got me into SEGA.. Only if that was 100% true because I did like SEGA a bit before that, but my memories are vague. Console wise is when I come home from primary school one day, aged about 8 or 9, 1986-7 when my mother surprises me with a random present.. I was hooked, I'd got my first console (the SEGA Master System plus box set) it was a random day, not my birthday or anything. Explaining in a comment about my SEGA history isn't going to be in detail as I would need to write an essay. A game that sometimes pops in my head is that rarely known SEGA arcade title Time Traveler, hologram game.. Brilliant for its time, bit like Dragons Lair gameplay.. They had one at Margate in one of the Arcades.. To be honest if it had the big SEGA logo I be on it like sonic.
