✅ Work rights for Exchange/Study Abroad students – More flexibility, more opportunity!
✅ Short-term post-study work visa under review – A new 6-month visa is being explored for those who don't immediately qualify for AEWV.
✅ Enrolment goals – Targeting growth from 83,700 students in 2024 to 119,000 by 2034.
💸 In 2024 alone, international education contributed $3.6 billion to the NZ economy, with students spending on average $45,000 per year.
