The mushroom is edible and tasty, sought for in several European countries, including Bulgaria. The resemblance to the poisonous Panther amanita (Amanita panterina, Пантерка, Мухомор пантерный) is especially dangerous because these mushrooms grow in the same habitat. So please follow the golden rule of a mushroom picker - if you don't know a mushroom, don't take it 🛑
