Hey Bright Sun, can’t wait to check this out! If you’re interested in other abandoned resorts, in the Cook Islands there is an abandoned Sheraton Resort on the island of Rarotonga that halted construction months before opening due to the involvement of the Italian mafia. Super interesting story that nearly bankrupted the entire country. Besides a couple of buildings that have been purchased and continued development, the entire resort sits derelict. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sheraton_Resort_Rarotonga

This looks so cool! If you ever get a chance you should cover Bombay beach and it's history

Who here wishes BSF and Company Man should make a video breaking down a company via bankruptcy? What these two channels do are fantastic.

Look into the Sheraton Resort Rarotonga. Was intended to be the first 5 star resort in Rarotonga but almost lead to the bankruptcy of the country. It’s truely got a wild story from being cursed by a local family to Italian mafia involvement.

That beach looks so beautiful to stroll along but any time I see buildings that close to the water, all I can imagine is the nightmarish cost of maintainence.

Is this four seasons Barbados? Never expected to see my country on this channel now I’m pumped. The beach it’s on is one of the best on the island and it’s still possible to explore the rooms of this resort although it’s very overgrown and tough to navigate through

This week's video is something really special. I'm taking a deep look both at the history as well as what's left behind of a truly unprecedented abandoned resort. It might be the only abandoned mainstream, ultra luxury hotel on the planet that still exists today. Planned to be flagged by one of the most prestegious hotel brands ever. Join me this Friday at 5pm EST for the full story!
