TACHO

A couple people have actually been asking for the source on the art I made the other day for the livestream thumbnail. So I decided to post it here. It was made in Stable Diffusion and it came out pretty good! (except for the hands...). I'll probably make more thumbnails this way in the future since its pretty easy to do and has good results. Let me know what you guys think.

Not a big fan of the style of AI arts but I think it fits with thumbnails. As an artist I just wish it was less moraly grey

As long as you do a quick search for fanart first, then yeah I don't really care if it's AI, because using Fanart is much better, but finding something so specific in such a small time window is definitely a pain, plus as you said, it's a thumbnail, not many pay attention to a thumbnail of a quick informational video, were it something with more investment then I could see an issue, but here? Nah, it's ok, plus it can look good as long as you keep your eyes a bit blurry :) At the end, good and informative content within the videos is what I come from and I get just that, so thanks!

On the one hand AI art is kinda cheesy and legally grey but on the other hand this illustration is straight fire. Making AI fanart for thumbnails or theorycrafts sounds pretty cool. Might try that some time.

I think it could be prompted in a way for it to hide her arms behind her back, like grabbing the surfboat from behind so the little hands defect could be avoided. But in general, it's a very solid result. This one in particular is really on point.

@aeolus15

Looks good to me. I didn't even notice a flaw until you pointed them out. Similar to those Heroes art fixes lol

@thur..

If it makes your life easier go for it, I think it's ugly bc I can't unsee the bad hair and hands but whatever I guess...

The AI art is nice, and if it works more efficiently for putting out videos then it's def worth it: )

Personally don’t like images. I always look for screwed up hands and hair now.

Cool, the art looks cool on the "character smile" point, part of me Would love to see the prompts used to create art myself too!

Firmly against AI art no matter the circumstance, feeding the bots someone’s years or even decades of experience and compiling it into a meaningless end product that’s only for quick looks ain’t it. At the end of the day, I get what you’re going for as a content creator. It takes a lot of time to find the right image to capture what you want for a thumbnail. Just remember that the more people use AI art, the more normalized it becomes. Sorry if that came off as a little on edge, just wanted to express my opinion as an artist. Have a good night Tacho!

Do it, Tacho. You'll get better, fine tune it, and start making some sick stuff.

By all means, go ahead
