An elderly Georgetown taxi driver, Keith Williams (60), remains behind bars after the court denied his bail once again following a savage cutlass attack on his common-law wife, Deanna Bourne (74). 😱💔
🔴 The Attack: On November 10, 2024, Williams allegedly forced his way into their home, woke his wife, started an argument, and then hacked her face and body with a cutlass. After attempting to flee, he was captured by bystanders while still holding the weapon! 😨⚖️
🏥 Her Condition: Though Bourne was discharged from the hospital, her injuries have left her unable to do daily activities. Her daughter testified in court, urging the magistrate to keep Williams in custody.
⚖️ The Verdict: On January 29, 2025, the judge ruled NO BAIL, despite Williams’s attorney arguing he has serious medical conditions. His next court date is set for March 5, 2025.
