To say violence is not the answer is mostly true. But there is always the exception to the rule. Even Shaolin Buddhist monks use martial arts to defend the weak and themselves not harm. This doesn't create another problem it solves it with wrathful compassion. Sometimes you must fight fire with fire in order for the flames of that passion to burn out. Namo Buddhaya πŸ™
