We were just all at a close friend's wedding, a friend who's been a part of the band's world since day one, and it was a big, emotional moment for all of us. Every day is special and important in its own way, but there are also a handful of massive moments scattered across a lifetime that stand out. Today is one of those days for all of us. It is the start of a new chapter, a snapshot of where we are right now in our journey of being a band, and we are feeling a ton of love for everything that got us here, and a ton of excitement for where things seem to be going.
This is an album about dreams, about laying it all on the line for those dreams, and the way the world looks when you're out on a limb for the things you believe in most. We made this record with a whole circus' worth of people who also feel like our family, and we think you can hear it in every song. Speaking for one second as myself (Robbie), I feel like I made this record with my brothers, and in my very biased opinion there is no better feeling in the world.
I hope you love this record, I hope it soundtracks house parties full of close friends, long drives with wide-ranging conversations, and the odd cozy night spent indoors holding someone you love. I hope this record makes great days better and heavy days lighter. It is the highest honor to get to show you this music and to get to keep telling the story of this band.
