Cynthia really deserved so much from this role. Everyone hyped Arianna and she’s good no doubt no doubt. But Cynthia freaking nails no place like home and her scenes. I feel the sorrow and pain as she contemplates why she wants to save a place that subjugated her and her loved ones in no place like home. I literally feel the tension in as long as you’re mine. I felt every feeling with Cynthia. I didn’t feel that with girl in the bubble. It just felt like okay we needed her character arc song. It didn’t resonate with me. I feel like everyone hypes Ari because she’s more famous maybe or maybe some other stupid reasons. Because for me Cynthia is just the epitome of suck me in to the narrative. I can’t even tell I’m watching a movie anymore. I love her so much.
