PC Security Channel

@JohnFlud

I don't know what pen testing is or EDR or XDR. I just watch this channel to see how antiviruses do, and advice on staying safe from malware as a regular (not computer nerd) user. I'd like to see a test with Malwarebytes running alongside windows defender, as you can change the settings in Malwarebytes to allow this, and see if it offers more protection that Malwarebytes does on its own. (or windows does on its own) I prefer Malwarebytes because it seems to be far less intrusive and gets out of the way way vs other products I've tried. its a simple antivirus that does that job without a bunch of add ons. but the biggest issue is how safe its keeping me.

AV Tests - I would like to see windows defender at the most strict protection settings or kaspersky test against newer viruses

@t3cube

If you could cover IPv6 in depth that would be great. I've been struggling to find a lot of content on setting up a network design for businesses that supports IPv6 and only exposes key systems externally

I don't know what EDR/XDR is, but I voted for Hacking/Pen Testing but equally would like more on networking. Thanks.

@cpuuk

If you want a commercial answer I would say this: ISO27001:2022 requires a regular stream of threat information, so maybe an additional (more frequent) channel?

I would really really love if you made a series on firewalls, is it worth it to spin up sophos or a sense firewall, if so, which one
