Born with Down syndrome and a heart murmur, Donavan began learning to walk as a baby, only to lose his progress after open-heart surgery. As his muscles weakened and injuries set in, his parents, Naomi and Oscar, carried him in a blanket to protect his fragile body. Sadly, his setbacks with walking only continued.
But at our Wheels for the World outreach in Mexico, Donavan received a custom-fitted wheelchair to support his healing, and his family received something just as powerful: hope!
