Moonrise Rocks

Hi! I’m Savannah! 🤠 It’s about time I introduce myself here. I’m a ✨30 year old lady✨ (please read that in Jenna Marbles’ voice) who just so happens to love rocks. I live on the east coast with my husband and 3 cats. I’m an INFJ (yes, for reals) and a gemini (take from that what you will). I almost mentioned that I’m a Ravenclaw, but this paragraph alone already screams “I’m a millennial” so I think I’ll stop there.

I started rock tumbling in January 2022 and decided to document my learning process on TikTok, mostly just for fun. People liked it way more than I would have ever guessed, and here I am two years later!

I’m a chronic hobby hopper (although rock tumbling seems to have stuck), and I’ve dabbled in a little bit of almost everything. Fiber art and photography have both stood the test of time, and I do gardening, writing, painting, reading, and a few other hobbies here and there. I’m also really into ✨cozy✨ games that I can somehow make as stressful as possible like Sims 4, Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, Forager, Ooblets, DDV, etc.

I’m both a supporter and member of the LGBTQ+ community, so if you’re not down with that as well as gender and racial equity then you’re in the wrong place. My channel is a safe and welcoming space for everyone, so please be kind 💜

Now it’s your turn. Tell me about you in the comments!

@TredecimRocks

Hello! I'm Wesley, I've been rock tumbling since we got a puppy back in 2021. He likes to stop and smell everything, and I didn't want to get frustrated with him and move him along all the time. Somehow, I decided to start looking for rocks while I waited for him. Thus, a hobby was born! 😂

@V3n.V3nny

I feel like introducing myself, but my real name and age will be hidden. And I won't go into any mental issues/disorders, unless I feel safe abt ranting abt them :3 Hey, I'm Violin. My birthdays on the 3rd of April, an Aries and an intp. I'm Aro-Ace since my view of love is a simple waste of time and it gets in the way of the important things in life (imo). I'm also Non-Binary with they/them pronouns, but I'm still currently trying to figure out my identity- My favorite school subjects are art an science, since they're really fun to learn about and ranting about them are many of my favorite things. My main hyperfixation is definitely space and/or astrology! Especially Stars! It's so fun to learn about the world and universe and probably the best thing in the massive world inside my head! :3 You don't have to read if you like, but since I'm bored and still want to write. I'm gonna write a massive paragraph about Polaris, also known as the North Star: There's a star called Polaris, it's also known as the North Star because it stays in one position and doesn't move. It's in the centre of the star field and it shows no essential movement. Our planets axis points almost directly to Polaris so it's observed to be the least moving star (or probably doesn't move at all),the other stars trace arcs of movement because of our planets spin on it's axis. Polaris is really close to the celestial pole so it traces out a small circle over 24 hours. Which means it roughly stays in the same place in the sky. In astronomy, a star that doesn't move is called 'a fixed star', the fixed stars are the luminary points, mainly stars, that appear not to move relative to one another against the darkness of the night sky in the background. However, it does move, if you look at its picture (go on google or something idk) it makes a little circle of its own around the exact point of the celestial pole every day. That's it! Please correct me if there are any mistakes, have a good day/night/afternoon/evening <33 Edit: I'm sorry, I write too much. But again, you don't have to read it all if you don't want too!

@bethanythefrenchonelol

Hi, I'm Bleuenn (any pronouns), I'm French, INTP and autistic (might be ADHD too but not diagnosed yet, should be soon) so when I have hyperfixations they can get quite overwhelming (current big hyperfixation is Taylor Swift). I'm also a libra but I don't really know much about zodiac signs. I didn't know about rock tumbling until I found your channel a few months ago, and it looks super fun to do :D

@HaradaWasInnocent

Nice to meet you! I'm Jeriel, I'm a man who turned 30 yesterday with a wife, one daughter, and a baby boy on the way. I love reading, writing, K-pop, video games, and anything Pokémon (I bet you can't guess my favorite). One thing that always cracks me up is the fact that a lot of people think I'm a teenage girl online, and I like to mess with people by using a female voice bot. It leads to funny situations such as guys flirting with me until I actually use my real voice.

@safaiaryu12

Hiiii! I only recently discovered your channel but I LOVE it, and as a queer person who believes in social justice, it makes me really happy to see you openly supporting LGBTQ+ and gender and racial equity. 🥰 I adore Stardew Valley, it's one of very few games that I've been invested enough in to try to 100%. Not there yet, but I'm trying! I really enjoy learning about everything and reading (though, oddly, I don't particularly enjoy reading nonfiction... I just spend a lot of time doing research!), and I draw sometimes when I can manage the motivation! Also, I play games other than Stardew Valley. I'm a Nintendo baby (grew up with a Game Boy Color and an N64) and I love the Switch because it allows me to game in bed, but I also own a gaming PC for when my chronic fatigue allows me to be up for a few hours outside of work. 😅 I see a lot of beauty in the natural world, which includes the fascinating world of ROCKS, but also I love all animals and trees! Love what you're doing! Keep it up! ❤️❤️
