I'd love to have a channel for that. Honestly I've always been mildly bothered by lazerpig's lack of social analysis, and as you are a syndie, the general lack of anarchists/libertarian socialists' in the military history sphere would definitely be helped by your presence in that department. By the way, I remember commenting on one of your videos noticing a reference that the vast majority of your audience probably didn't get, and you replied and mentioned that youre a syndie, so hi again if you see this comment.

I think a second channel where you can just freestyle about your thoughts on the state of the world is a great idea. I enjoy your content and watch your episodes several times each, just today I rewatched parts one and two of your Enterprise series. I hope you take the plunge and look forward to watching the first episode on the new channel.

Animarchy History
Well everyone… it’s been a while since one of my news streams where I offer my take. A lot of you are probably familiar with my crash outs on Twitter and my reactions to the current state of the world, I don’t exactly hide my opinions and I like to think that gives me a level of transparency. I will never hide my bias nor will ever claim not to be. The moment you hear a historian say they don’t have bias or they are completely objective is the moment you realise you are listening to a bad historian or worse, a gaslighting propagandist.
Anyway. The reason I’m posting this is that I want to return to news streams and political streams after seeing other creators like MoistCritical and my friend LazerPig who both identify as centrists, weighing in and making that sort of content.
That said, I don’t want to infect the history channel with what I consider low effort content, I used to do that with the CoD content when I started out and since having transitioned to proper documentary film making, albeit with a comedic edge, I want to hold myself to a higher standard.
With that in mind I am considering a second channel dedicated to that type of content, if I may make a cringe comparison it would operate similarly to other creators of that vein such as Secular Talk, Hasan or to use right wing examples Sargon and Count Dankula’s second channel. Where it’s just me offering my take and losing my mind at the world’s stupidity for your entertainment. I know a lot of you don’t share my political views, I am to the left of pretty much every military history creator on the platform. But I also consider myself a moderating influence in the left wing space because of that, I am friends with conservatives, libertarians and various other people who disagree with me because regardless of those differences. On the core issues of humanity we share a common moral centre, do what’s right because it’s right, the politics is about the how and we leave that to the bureaucrats. My position is about doing the most good with the least harm, giving everyone a fair shot and never succumbing to the bigotry, callousness and reactionary “own the libs” or “everyone’s a fascist” nonsense seen on both extremes of the aisle.
A vlog channel is not a new concept, nor is a clips and “low effort dvd extras” channel. But it’s a step I’ve hesitated to take, it’s a similar reason as to why I haven’t started a gaming channel.
Now. With all of this said I’m putting up a poll to see your thoughts and I also would like viewers of all types and positions to comment below and offer their opinions.
