No one tell him about queer black activists like James Baldwin or Audre Lorde, heāll have a heart attack.

The thing I hate about ppl like this is that they exclude queer black men from blackness. They claim to be pro-Black but canāt let go of the homophobia long enough to consider the experience of a gay Black man

The way he hates black men? WACK The way he equates the struggle of gays to the plight of black people? WACK The way he lowkey doesn't believe in God? WACK The way he look like a gamestop employee? WACK The way he still play tekken 8? WACK

these comments are strangely predictable, like those commenters who just post long bible quotes, they don't read the room and just insert themselves wherever they can to push their agenda

As a black trans queer person, seeing other black and poc people being supportive of people like me is really nice. A lot of queer spaces can be racist or prejudiced, with white queer people getting more rep, etc. Due to the state of things, I'm black and indigenous before I'm queer(not to say queer struggles are not important. Just being a poc is the first thing people notice about me) Sometimes, it's just nice to have a space within a community you already feel connected to.

God I love it when straight men actually call out homophobia. Truly itās the only way weāre going to make progress on this issue at this point - if we can convince young men and boys that actually, speaking up against bigotry is more masculine and empowering than bigoted and supremacist thought patterns and practices.

"Why can't we see a video that doesn't automatically make me think of that fantasy I'm super uncomfortable with but super into every time?"

I got a new job and I work with a brother who voted for trump, watches academics but also watches fd, he understands white people are hella racist but also somehow believes trump canāt be bought and that gay ppl are pushing an āagendaā in schools. I really donāt know how bro got to that point, but it is a good reminder that the median voterās opinions manage to be both uninformed and complex/contradictory sometimes

Also like, as a queer person of color-- how is equating the queer and black experience a bad thing?? I'm not black but the experiences that black people have related to me about their own personal lens on oppression and discrimination have been both relatable to me and valuable in the sense that they reflect and validate my own experiences. Black queer people especially have been so friendly and helpful in affirming my feelings about living in America as a marginalized queer person. Like, fuck intersectionality, I guess? š

Iām still trying to untangle the Obama thing. Like, 1) OP thinks Obama stereotyped and spoke condescendingly about straight Black men, 2) OP thinks FD does the same, 3) therefore OP doesnāt understand why FD criticizes Obama, and 4) we need a video to explain to OP why you might criticize someone, even if you might have something in common with them?

the lack of critical thinking is actually terrifying because this person's logic is shared by many others, including my own family members

They need a video on how you "low key [don't] believe in God"?? Why would anyone need that? Why does he care š

The funny thing about homophobes is that gay people are always on their mind. This comment is on a video about Killer Mike and has absolutely nothing to do with gay peopleš
