tbh many people close up their body language when feeling vulnerable. nobody is loud and confident when talking about their traumas. how is this a reliable indicator of psychopathy 🙄

Why do we always blame the liar, cheater, maniplulator, narcissist, etc. but never call out the person who doesn't exercise discernment, judgement, critical thinking, etc. I've been in bad relationships, been scammed and trusted lies, and I always end up at I can't believe "I" let that happen. Personal responsibility is a thing.

Unfortunately, I'm suffering from brain fog now. Digging deeper in narcissism and dysfunctional people's behavior won't help me now in any case. I would like to see it and I can't do it yet But thank you, Lisa, in any case

Love Chase Hughs and as a psychologist, have followed him for several yrs. Context and baseline are indeed, everything. That said, this realistically requires far, far more than a few seconds and the training required for any accuracy is truly quite extensive. I know people love to dabble in some pop-psych videos and books and feel that they have the inside track but this creates real problems for actual experts and doctors. There’s far too many “body language experts” out there that are about sensationalism and the sense of superiority gained through having the supposed power to make attributions and place others into categories. The profound irony is that narcissists are in particular, deeply attracted to pop-psych behavioral analysis because it allows them to create a facade of validity, for themselves and others, around their own warped perspective.

That literally sounds like any human being in a vulnerable position. You don’t have to be a narcissist to react like this when you’re being interrogated or forced to socialize as an introvert who can’t handle it. So who are you stalking that they had that reaction? Cause that’s how I’ve been reacting to my stalkers.

Lying is the number #1 character trait of a human I hated most, even it's a shallow or white lies, it's a big turn off for me.

Stop all of this spot a narcissist stuff. When you put crud like this out to the public - everyone becomes a narcissist! Someone can cross their eyes and boom, they're a narcissist. This is ridiculous.

This whole obsession with narcissists is out of proportion and click bait material for views is actually disgusting for a wealthy couple like Lisa and Tom

If the arms open out they are narsasitic and controlling dominating if they arms close they are hiding something lying deceptive trying to be meek humble and passive. With the eyes down head down and in a hurry

If that man is who I think he is, I don't like him because he makes false absolute blanket statements all the time. Ex: He said that people with those 2 lines you get when you furrow your eyebrows are people who are constantly angry or violent. That's such a stupid statement because a lot of people get those lines when they deeply think about something or are processing information more complex information. Another example: He said that people without any lines on their forehead are sociopaths or psychopaths. Another stupid statement of his. You get wrinkles on your forehead when you lift your eyebrows. So, don't lift them and you won't get those lines/wrinkles on your forehead, and you'll look younger for longer. I don't lie! And I don't have those lines (or barely visible) . I'm not a sociopath nor a psychopath. I'm a super empath! I've seen MANY psychopaths and sociopaths with a lot of lines on their forehead, and deep ones at that! That man makes stupid "absolute" blanket statements all the time, like those 2 statements he's made in a past interview, and the comment sections called him out on all the BS he was saying. I think he enjoys being in the limelight and will say and do anything to remain in it because he makes money with all his lies. If you haven't realized, I think he's a psychopath.

Ever wish you could spot a liar or narcissist in seconds before they trap you in their manipulative web and ruin your peace? 👀
This week on Women of Impact, we're revisiting a POWERFUL conversation where I sat down with Chase Hughes, one of the worlds TOP former U.S. military interrogator who now teaches behavioral analysis and influence.
He breaks down how to read human behavior like an FBI profiler, and the patterns narcissists can’t hide, no matter how charming they seem!
In this conversation you’ll learn:
• How to detect deception without sounding accusatory
• The #1 nonverbal cue that reveals a manipulator
• How to expose a narcissist, on the first date
