Longer videos would be awesome! I love hearing all the historical information you pack into the shorts, so hearing it in full video form would be fun! Whether it's sewing, vlogs or informative historical videos I'd literally love watching all of it!!

Long and short are both good! I initially subscribed for the history aspect, but learning that you made the clothes you show made me stick around as I've started wanting to do the same myself! It's encouraging and informative to watch both the GRWM and the more in depth explanation videos, for the knowledge of them historically, and what to keep in mind if I want to try making something what to watch out for

I love the idea of some longer videos. I watch sewing content (especially historical and tutorials) to get my sewjo flowing, but only make it if you want to. Not all projects need to be long-form, just if the mood strikes.

I love the historical insights and how fashion intersects with events of the day

I love long form! I know they tend to require quite a bit more work, however. As far as topics, all of the above. I love to watch while I work on my own projects, so tutorials and history bits are great!

Love this history stuff in conjunction with modeling of the historical costumes.

I love the Shorts because my attention is pretty distracted these days. However, your historical commentary long or short is fascinating. I'm also very interested in seeing your sewing techniques in making your fabulous period wardrobe. Be awesome to have a series of start to finish half hour segments of sewing your outfits, including the frustrations. Love to see your sewing room and equipment, etc. Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas!

HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS! That's what this dress reminds me of!

A mix of long and short with some vlogs, history and whatever else you’d like to try. That said, your videos of costumes with historical context and explanations are always superb.

Whatever you want to do, do it! I personally would really like to see some behind the scenes of how you make all your outfits, where you get your materials, etc, but it’s your channel, you do whatever you wanna do!

I think us folks on the YouTubes prefer long form content. I love all your videos but especially the longer ones because I enjoyed hearing your process and the ups and downs and i appreciate how ypu put everything in there even if the project didn't turn out how you hoped. Hearing that kind of stuff from a fellow sewer is very encouraging. I also like playing long sewing videos and vlogs while I work on my sewing projects.

I want historical content and will take it in any form, short or long. Primary sewing content doesn’t interest me that much, I want to hear more about people in the past and the reasoning behind certain fashion choices that we don’t have in the current era.

I really like vlogs and tutorials, but that is just me! You do what is best for you! I know everyone will be thrilled with whatever content you put out!

i’m generally more of a long form viewer, and i just like to watch stuff people are passionate about putting out. whatever’s most fulfilling to make often makes for the best content in my experience as a youtube enjoyer

I like both but please make whatever you enjoy making the most. I’m here for it all and Sundance is the name of a shop I used to work at in college. What a cute doggie 🐶 happy holidays

I love all your content, it’s so informative and beautiful! But I think long-Form sewing videos have always been my favourite😊

Thank you reviving the elegance of those times. Your sense of style, your sewing abilities and your own gracious persona make it a joy to watch your channel. Merry Christmas.

The Sewlo Artist
Happy Holidays from Ivy and Sundance!
As I’m entering the new year I’m thinking a lot about the kind of content I like to make and that you like to see. In the past I’ve done some long form sewing related content, but I didn’t love making it, and it didn’t perform especially well. I’ve mostly focused on making shorts since that’s what performs well so presumably it’s what people like to see.
I thought I’d reach out to you gorgeous people to see what you’re most interested in. Vlogs? Sewing adventures? Tutorials? Informative history stuff? Shorts or more long form?
I’m totally willing to try out new stuff! You just never know what works.
