This is the book that changed my perspective about tongues speaking. This is my number biblical book among all the books I have read. I thank God that He directed me to this book.

1 Corinthians 14:2 shows the word UNKNOWN in italicized print it was added by the translators. It should read for he that speaks in a tongue speaks unto God.

PLEASE NOTE: AI CANNOT DISCERN THE LANGUAGE OR THE THINGS OF GOD, and in particular, when a believer in Christ Jesus is speaking/praying in tongues. The Bible, God's Word, refers to tongues in different ways, but what's most important to point out for this purpose is that it is an "unknown tongue" even to us. The Word of God says:
1 Corinthians 14:2 - KJV
For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
In the spirit we, His children, speak mysteries to God.
When reading auto captions inserted by AI., we are seeing rather confusing and even vile AI translations of what is being spoken where godly tongues are concerned. Thus, we want to forewarn you (particularly those of you whose first language is not English and might think this translation is correct) that AI cannot interpret/translate what is being said when a born again believer speaks in a godly tongue. AI does not know and cannot learn the spiritual things of God nor His heavenly language.
Speaking in tongues for the believer in Christ Jesus is a gift of The Holy Spirit who lives in us. AI is not holy (some people are deceived because there now exists such a thing as AI church, and AI jesus, etc., and that is so unfortunate). Herein, lies another method of deceiving people away from the Truth. We pray the eyes of their understanding will be enlightened and that they realize that there is absolutely no substitute for The Father God, Jesus The Christ, nor The Holy Spirit.
So, when you see captions on Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin's videos or godly ministers' videos that attempt to translate a "godly" tongue (followed by an interpretation) or a believer praying in tongues, please do not be deceived. Human languages and the way Father God has given for us to communicate with Him are two different things (although we can use both - our understanding and with a tongue).
Following is some scriptural basis for tongues, which we believe has not passed away nor was only for the Apostles during Jesus' earthly ministry (as some may believe). There is power dynamic in its working when you "pray" in tongues today. And yes, there is a proper order to "speaking" in tongues in the church.
Acts 2:4 - KJV
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 10:45-46 - KJV
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.
There is speaking and praying in tongues for the believer's personal relationship with God The Father, and then there is the "gift" of tongues and interpretation for the purpose of the Church.
