Lesson -1; Average - Important Points

Average :-

We know the Formula to find AVERAGE from TextBooks in Short and concise manner :-

Average = Sum of all observations / Total no of Observation.

Real defination :-

Actual defination tends under A number we get by Sum up all nos divided by a Total no of observations .

An Average is a unique and a Single most number represents the Overall value of a given set or collections of data in summative format .

Reason to find Average: -

Average Values are helpful to know where the Nos ( values) are within or around the data sets in a complete essence of Summarized format .

This way of calculation always gives a ideal, unique and distinct way of Expressing the data values given in a set which are usually in not above or below the specific values .they are always around or within the subset of data collection .

EXAMPLES: -

Average Age defines the accurate age of a certain no of people in a group which are Distinct and unique combines up the overall and complete essence ( summary) of age of different group within Entire Given data sets / data collection . it tends to give a accurate, correct and understandable idea under / within a Single Number or a value .

REAL LIFE EXAMPLES:-

If the avg age of a group of 5 members are in between 60- 65 ; it means all age groups given in a set of data Gives a natural idea of all age group persons are comes under the 60 or 65 or within / between in it .

average is always a negligiable value where range or differences are nor less than nor more than being neutral, balanced ; remain constant .

Key Highlights: -

Individual values and average are totally different concepts ;

1) Individual Values :- the individual values collect individual and data informations Of a different individuals ( probably unique) measured in units such as weight, age, distance , income or salary in a summarized form under a single data collections.

2) Average :- it is a Value which is calculated by adding up and dividing the no of individual values.

Average gives more precise, easy and understable , summarized form of individual collection of data sets get by summation of all individual values divided by ( "distributed among "word is used in common language) given no of individual values under one complete data collection .

An average is not above not less than whereas a fixed , constant and a equals to around the Specific value which overall gives a idea or a complete and concise picture about the range of numbers or values at which all numbers are nearest to an approximation.

It can be mostly written as avg = sum of values / no of values where we are dealing with individual values of a data set .

Average is known as central, normal value .

3) Data distribution: - A distribution of Data is combining all necessary information of different individuals in a progressive series often in Arithmetic or Geometric progression in terms of collecting nos in a constant way .

Another way of demonstrating Data is generally expressed in terms of pie chart, histogram , bar graph highlighting the measures or units such as age, income or viceversa .

discription of representing data in forms of pie chart and bar graph are most convenient source in compiling datas of different entities in one safe place .

4) Range of Numbers in a data :-

Range of numbers defines the maximum or minimum range of the Numbers in a data varies in terms of measuring units .

5) Measures of central tendency :-

These are known as central tendency( Commonly a middle value) in statistics
Calculated by three prime methods - mean , median and mode acquisites to gives an shape of a Complete idea of a values of a data . typical , Normal and Common are the keywords comes under topic avg .
Avg is known as mean in statistic term.

6) Standard deviation method :- In standard Deviation method, we primarily focuses on Assuming any no in a set of data as average then see their differences and adding it to assuming average to get original average . it is relevant , easy to find compare to adding and dividing the no of values . it takes low time to calculate as compare to traditional method .

7) Calculating Averages on Classification of Numbers :- Average can be calculated on Classification of numbers such as natural no, Natural odd and even numbers , Odd and even numbers each has a different Formulas highlights the way of finding average .
