I just randomly got served your "11 year old calms her brother" video, & thought I'd just pop a comment just to suggest quickly looking into "parentification", just to have a bit of an understanding of it is helpful ❤ It may not be relevant for you, but just seeing how wise & mature your daughter was, it felt like something to be aware of 🌻 Just because its something a lot of us mature big sisters have to unravel in our adult lives... Again I know nothing, & your probably a lovely mum ❤ Just have a quick look into "parentification" just so your aware 🌈 Its something that I'm sure can happen accidentally... But boy the long term affects of it stay with us

First off--- I'm not a mom--- I miscarried at 7 weeks and was never able to get pregnant again. Second--- my heart hurts for you and how people are tearing apart your parenting skills. I love how you do the time outs --- my siblings and my In-laws have different ways of disciplining their kids, and my nieces and nephews have their own way with theirs. To me, it depends on what works for you and follow through with it. When I nannied before I was married, I put the almost 3 yr old in time out--- here's what I did-- she went and got her favorite doll and blanket and went to the couch. She was there for 2 minutes, if she misbehave there I took the doll or blanket away. After the 2 minutes were up, she sat on my lap, we talked about what she did and why she went to time out. I hugged her, gave her a kiss, said I love you and she went to play with her baby sister. When I got married, I stopped being their nanny, and I get a call from the mom asking about the time out I did, I know I told her while I was there, so I asked why--- she said her daughter went and got the blanket and doll and sat on the couch, then sat on her mom's lap to talk about it. You have to do what works for your kids! I'm so sorry people are reacting this way with you! I have one more thing to say--- Olivia, you are amazing, kind, caring, loving, awesome and I love the way you parent them!!! I love the daily chores, and how excited they get at the end of the day!!! Make a video: At what age did you start to send your children to daycare/kindergarten? The older kids who go to school, what kind of school are they attending private religious, public school and so on? And why did you not homeschool them?
