I'd rather not lean into the idea most people have for buffing Ledian, but rather give it an Ability that would have special moves use its Special Defense stat

Kecleon would be interesting and leagues stronger if Color Change activated pre-emptively. It would essentially gain a wholly unique defensive typing whose only weaknesses are Ghost and Dragon, on top of becoming immune to most status conditions.

Hot take: wouldn't make Kecleon OP but color change should be like Legend Plate Arceus, but you swap types to block defensively. Would give several immunities and cause hilarity

Curious to see how you’d buff Spinda. That Pokemon will prob never leave BDSP due to the Spot Pattern Glitch in Pokemon Home.

Wait a second... Kecleon is only available in BDSP ? Wow, o thoght it was also available in SWSH.

These theoretical videos are interesting, but let's face it, some Pokémon are beyond help. They would need outrageous buffs to be viable, like new evolutions and then Megas for those evolutions, to boot.

How about one for Pokémon that are dominant in the meta. I'd love to see an SSBU version of that, but you don't make Smash content anymore. Oh well.

My suggestions: Furfru- give it higher attack and change the ability depending on the trim, intimidate, competitive, defiant, [enter special attack intimidate ability] or justified- AND MAKE SURE THE COMPETITIVE ONE HAS GOOD SPECIAL ATTACK Keckleon- make it have a better protean(pre gen 8) which changes your type right before taking damage to be not very effective, but if double targeted it makes the second hit neutral to be balanced, or maybe if the stats stay bad it won’t need that Simipoor- just… make it a better water, pure water isn’t a bad type so… buff its special, buff its speed and give it back scald

Next video is now up and available for early access to members. In this video, "Forgotten Competitive Pokémon (and how to buff them)", I recall Pokémon that weren't obtainable in Sword/Shield and Scarlet/Violet and discuss what it would take to make them viable in Pokémon Champions. The video is set for public release on Sunday, November 16.
