I am so thankful for the art pieces I have that I ordered from your shop. I have a feeling that you will open it again one day. The thought of taking care of another human seems overwhelming right now, but you will be surprised at how quickly you’ll fall into a routine. You are an artist & artists need to create. Show yourself some grace & if you find you are missing the creative processes, than you will find the time again. Don’t ever feel guilty if you need your alone time to create, without your son with you. It’s okay to continue nurturing yourself, too. In fact, it’s not only okay, it’s necessary. I remember when my 3 boys were ages 1, 2 & 3, I hired a babysitter to come over for 2 hours, 4 days every week, so I could spend time making jewelry (I sold it locally & while it wasn’t our main income source, it certainly helped). I found that if I didn’t have that creative time, I wasn’t as happy, therefore, I wasn’t as good of a mother. You will figure it all out, Paola. Sending you so much love & light. 🥰✨

Just keep in mind Paola that your talent is God-given and not taken away. It waits in quiet until you find the moments to awaken it. When that time arises, you may find it has even taken on a new life. Cleaning and scrubbing (painting and drawing :) can wait for tomorrow, for babies grow up we've learned to our sorrow.... so quiet down cobwebs (artwork), dust (paints)go to sleep....I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep. Best wishes and thoughts 😊

My Etsy shop is closing until further notice at the end of the month 🌸 I didn’t think I’d cry (I’m probably a bit overly emotional right now haha) it’s a very good but hard decision ❤️ I’ve had my shop open for years and closing it until further notice is a lot to take in, I hope to re-open it after baby and I are more settled into our new lives together, but I’m not sure when that will be, or if that will be. We shall see how life goes, and try to not make plans 🥰 I’m trying hard to embrace the fact that planning ahead too much without knowing the future can backfire, so I’m trying to be like the wind and water, and flow as the days move by 🙏 accepting what they bring. Thank you all so much for allowing me to paint and create art for three years!
