Lukky

I would love to have a look at what you guys are making!

I have collected some clips of people who have made stuff using my Tutorials but not enough for a full video yet. So if you have anything made in Godot you would like to see featured on the channel (doesn't matter if you followed one of my Tutorials or not ) send me a build or a clip (1080p) at lukky.business@gmail.com.

If you want I can also go over your code in the video if you send me your project folder.

Everybody featured in the video will of course get full credit!

@just_rogers

I'm a recent unity refugee, just recently started using godot, and your tutorials have been super helpful, I don't have anything super impressive yet but I'll send a clip at least, thanks for all your excellent work!

@boombox2112

I have some basic prototypes I made using your 1st person and 3rd person tutorials, but I am in the process of learning how to make my own 3d models right now and put the game making and prototyping on hold till I can make consistent art assets for the game I am brewing up in earlier stages of concept. I feel it’s a good next step in learning to make my own game from the ground up.

Love all of your contents, looking forward to the result of these community post. I spend 4 years, finding ideas, exploring skills, and a lot of youtube videos. Learning basic coding, godot coding, game design, music, art, story writing and playing video games. Technically procrastinating cuz im afraid that I went all out and start ignoring my studies. Now, more than ever, I find it perfect to start my gamedev journey as I becoming more bored on university life. other than that, there godot 4, a more stronger gamedev communities and lot more indies game giving me inspiration. Maybe, I can submit some projects in the future so that I can get quality guidance. If this evolve into a series.

@nikefootbag

Make sure you test builds on an isolated system that doesn’t have passwords saved etc. it’s a common scam to send a built that scrapes your pc and takes over your accounts etc for ransom (happened to someone on our gamedev discord)

I used your gdd document to help me plan my game and I'm about to start remaking the game from the ground up. But I'ma send a demo of what I have so far

I started making a 3D multiplayer something something. Not decided yet. But I wanted to get it into a scalable state where it would be easy to continue developing in whichever direction I want. I made a multiplayer connection, very janky 3rd person controller and now a built-in level editor. Although it looks like a 2D editor at the moment, so I'm procrastinating. I'm now making a little game for a jam based on sand physics sims letting the player build their own rules and maybe adding a puzzle element later where you could modify existing rules to pass or something. It's just UI for now

Definitely used your "every node in Godot" videos to learn but not sure I'd be able to show a clip of that. LOL

Hey, that‘s a great idea. Thank you so much for supporting your audience in this way. I have a couple of playable prototypes but nothing fancy. Don’t know what is the standard here. Would totally love to submit something

What if i just have a concept and a rough player model? You really inspired me to start working on my game and I'm definitely gonna follow your tutorials when I start coding.

@oli_p_3d

Hi, I'm pretty new to godot and game Dev. But to help learn I've been working on a flappy bird clone but with a turtle using the mobile godot app and I mini keyboard, so I can do bits in my lunch hour and spare time. It's pretty much done so I can send you a build of that at some point if you're interested
