Honestly I think that Sentinel is more powerful, but Optimus would win this. Why? spoilers ofc Some people would say that Sentinel is destroyed here, because D-16 killed Sentinel and Megatron who is basically stronger version of D-16 was unable to win against Prime. But let me remind you that Sentinel won against D. He had oportunity to kill him twice, but was always distracted by something else. D-16 won only because he used that moment of distraction to attack sentinel from behind. Current Megatron (in terms of physique) is still just D-16, but a little bit bigger, stronger, and better armed. Thats it. No upgrades like dark energon, or some Maces, just Megatrouns Prime cog, so I think that in direct confronation Sentinel would win against him too (it would just be more difficult). Meanwhile Optimus is whole different story. He was chosen by the Primus himself, gained the Matrix of leadership and ofc became a Prime. He was able to keep his memories etc, but also gained a lot of combat knowlege, abilities and so on. Upgrade D-16 -> Megatron is nothing like Orion Pax -> Optimus Prime. So while Sentinel is indeed more powerful (besides flight, size and experience from fighting in quintesson war, he also has a whole arsenal of ranged weponary and double edged sword), Optimus would win. It all comes down to the Matrix. A guy who spent his whole life mining energon and running away from guards was able to defeat three main decepticons and their leader with this thing. And you can say that none of those were as strong as Sentinel, but I think despite Sentinel's power Optimus would still win.
