With Disney out, which of the main streamers would you like to see Doctor Who partner with next?

@cuppapablo

Any streamer, as long as they don't have involvement in production and all they do is have the streaming rights and the production decisions are fully in BBC/Badwolf hands.

I think Paramount+ should be their new home. Who and Star Trek sharing a home just feels right

As and American who'd like to be able to watch I don't like any of these options. I say they set up their own platform where you just buy a season pass to the show and watch it there. Or let people outside the UK have access to iPlayer for a price or free with ads, even if it's just for Doctor Who and related media.

As someone from Australia, I'd like to see Doctor Who back on the ABC.

The BBC made Doctor Who for over 60 years, why do they feel they need a partner now? Quality writing and acting don’t need state of the art effects.

Prime or Netflix. Mainly because they're services I already have. It'd be nice if they also got the rights to show the rest of the series, too. I could be tempted to get HBO Max. But Apple can die in a fire.

None. I just want it free again in Australia like it was for 55 years.

Doctor who used to be available on Netflix, I can't see any reason not to return, even if there's a delay between the episode's release on the BBC and on Netflix.

The U.K. government should allow the BBC iPlayer to be opened up to international subscriptions, and flagship programs should be available to watch within a short window after BBC broadcast without subscription, just registration. This would generate more revenue while promoting the BBC iPlayer service. If they do extend programs to streamers like Netflix, let it not be a production deal, just a presentation deal.

@RGesty

I used to watch it on PBS in the United States, yes I'm old. Even sent in money to them to help keep it on!

For everyone, not any streaming service exclusively

Just put it back on BBC America

Where's the option for "Just let it die already, it's suffered enough!"? You know, like stuff such as the Walking Dead.

I really would like to see the same commitment apple tv gave to foundation

@Goblincox

Netflix has a terrible track record with cancellations were just gonna wind up back here in a few years with them too

@ODISeth

I’d be fine with them releasing the show on any of these platforms. But partnering with them? Nah. The BBC alone is capable of making Doctor Who a phenomenal show, do they really need another massive multimedia conglomerate hovering over their shoulders and making creative decisions for them? Why? Why can’t they just, distribute their show?

AMC+ since they own BBC America. First run it on BBC and BBC America. Then stick it on AMC+ a few hours later. All the others would want too much input into the show. They also own AcornTV which brings UK and Australian TV to the US, a lot like BritBox. That would work too.
