Dear Friends, 🩷 l am beyond words for how deeply grateful I am to all of you who have sent donations and prayers for a miracle for Zorro. You all showed up in a powerful way for Zorro, offering generosity and compassion that has touched my heart very deeply.

After a second opinion and further tests yesterday, the veterinarians think he has a complicated condition called paraprostatic cysts. Thankfully it is treatable with surgery, which at first we did not believe was possible and if it was would be unaffordable to me.

He got some relief from symptoms yesterday, as they were able to drain a lot of fluid off the large cyst and today he has been running and playing like his old self again. That makes me so hopeful. This surgery can hopefully extend his life for another 2-4 years we hope and make him pain free.

Thanks to your generous donations, I am now able to cover most of Zorro’s medical costs to have this surgery as early as next week!! Hopefully Monday but not confirmed yet. His expenses have been significant and including the the surgery — a total of around $3500 or a little more. Better than we originally expected. I cannot express how much it means to me that you’ve opened your hearts to help us!

If anyone still feels moved to contribute, your kindness would be greatly appreciated, especially as there could be unexpected costs ahead. But I want to be clear- we’re in a MUCH BETTER PLACE now because of all the love we have already received!

I am so happy there is something that they can do to for him. You can see that he is a happy baby. There will still be prayers for him as well. Sending love and light and wishing for a speedy recovery. ❤️‍🩹
