After my husband passed away, keeping my plants alive and my chickens fed was what kept me from staying in bed all day. I will always appreciate my indoor garden and my pets for that.

My grandma had the best green thumb and all throughout my life she would teach me gardeing and plant things. I never had much of a green thumb, but when she passed just before covid, I used the lockdown time to mourne and collect plants. I killed a lot of them through learning, but now i have so many beautiful plants, and i feel so connected to her. She would be so proud. But if she was here she'd act like she wasn't surprised by my abilitiy at all, and reassure me I'm amazing and capable of doing anything with great results if i try. And then we would gush over their green glory. ❤❤❤❤

The world is kind of ugly right now so even little things like seeing that a cutting has rooted or that your Thanksgiving cactus is pushing out new leaves gives me joy.

I checked peace; but if I could choose two, I'd add purpose. As a semi-housebound 85 year old, purpose is rather more important to my window gardening than it once was.

Joy! Without joy, what would be the point? And, plants keep me grounded & connected to the REAL world.

The plants seem to appreciate my thoughts more than people...

I'm alone out of town on an extended business trip apart from my Mrs. and pets living in my bus. I have limited room, but I've found purpose caring for some house plants after stumbling across your channel. I enjoy your delivery and love learning the ins and outs of plant care. THANKS!!!:hand-purple-blue-peace:

Just as my house is not home without my family and pets, it's not home without my plants either. They all give me stress from time to time but its sooo worth it and I wouldn't be without any of them 😊

Beauty, a living thing in my living space. I feel their presence, they clean my air, they are nature indoors. I know them like I know people. Some are picky, some are easy, some are thirsty. Some of my older plants can actually go to the sink and water themselves😂

For me plants offer me the connection to my dad who passed away last year. We laid him to rest in a forest. It’s like the plants take from the ground what they need, they grow, the wind blows their seeds across the world.. a new plant grows.. he is with me everywhere 💚

I feel at peace sitting in my little patio garden, getting to smell the scents combining all together early in the morning.
