Chat I mean the new feature where subscribers can post in your community nah I understand how posting myself works I’ve done it for a year now but either way it’s incredibly funny to see people genuinely try and explain it to me anyways so like keep doing that if you want.

I think it was supposed to be used as a blogpost for video development updates and random stuff, but nowadays it can also be used to farm for engagement with stolen memes and pointless polls. Liking a single one of these from a channel with no more than 5 subscribers is enough for youtube to think i want that person in every poster in my city (for like 2 weeks anyways). Sometimes when i scroll for way too long in the yotube homepage it straight up gives up recommenting videos and the only thing left is community posts. The one thing i can't understand is the "anybody can post in your community tab" feature from very recently, they're figuratively giving away your house keys to random people on the streets with this one.

I’ve seen it used to create polls and for general announcements like upcoming video, video delayed etc. Other than that, mostly shitposting
