The nice thing about the packs is they give you the equivalent price in San Van Bucks, so if you plan on buying either $25 or $50 worth of bucks, you should absolutely buy a pack first (only available until Dec 2nd). Additionally, they both come with the season pass starting Oct 7th, which presumably is going to allow you to unlock many more free items by playing the game. I'd say wait until then before buying to see what items are available, but I imagine it may very well be worth it. (I have not spent any money yet, but the $25 pack is tempting.)

Review it bro, you're hearts in the right place. As long as you go into it acknowledging the cost and what 60 dollars means to the working man/woman then you can't go wrong.

As an owner of the pack im super curious of your thoughts! I honestly purchased it for the vans, skate decks San van bucks, and the classic Skate tees

Requiring people to spend real money on cosmetics is literally the worst part about modern gaming. Hell, having to grind for hours to get enough “rip chips” to get a GD black T-shirt is just as bad. We already know the answer to the question of whether or not spending real money on cosmetics is worth it. But people are going to keep on doing it anyway. You do you, it’s great you didn’t have to spend real money on it. But it sucks

Seeing a few creators say they got the pack, just hope you keep it real I imagine a few wanting to stay positive in hopes ea sends them more or wants to work with them

As someone who bought it it’s definitely not worth it the cosmetics suck the true reason I bought it though was because later down the line I know I’m gonna spend money on item shop clothes that have real brands so I only did it for the 5800 San van bucks

If they are going with these microtransactions they need to ramp up the good stuff in the store. A few vans, girl/chocolate decks, some clothing that’s mostly reskins of stuff in the base game isn’t cutting it. Also they are drip feeding it in batches. Hopefully they locked down licensing for more companies than what they have (I know Nike is there but need more)

For sure man. I'm willing to spend money on this game and I would like your perspective on it

People complain, but the pack is quite generous. You get some stuff + the equivalent in premium currency + the first skate pass. I personally got the basic founder packs because didn't see myself needing more premium currency and was not interested in the cheap JPG skate merch and the costume...

I feel they should have done apartments or homes in this game for that kind of cost. Most of the clothes should be free.

Go on then why not.... My personal opinion it looks like a complete waste of money. But be interesting to see.

EA gifted me a code for the Deluxe Founder's Pack for Skate. This pack normally costs a whopping $60 so it's not a small fee if you are considering getting it yourself. Would you guys like a frank and honest review of this pack? I want to use my "YouTuber privilege" for good and hopefully help you decide if you want to spend real money in Skate or not.
The catch is the video will have to be "sponsored by EA" due to it being gifted for free. But that's only a disclaimer, and I'll be giving my honest opinions on each item in the pack.
