A really happy update for you. Ophelia and Zahra, the two assylum seekers we interviewed in our last video have recieved €8,500 in donations as of today. Its a life-changing amount of money and especially needed in their circumstances. Neilly and I (Sarah here, hello) are going on holiday for the next ten days, so they're staying at our place while we're away, and for the first time since they got to Ireland have been able to do a proper grocery shop and are looking at a few days of being housed in a warm private environment with safe food. We're going to be useless until early January, and even then we aren't sure what we can do to help, but we are trying to think of something. At the very least we can provide a digital space for everyone in the same situation to pool resources and strategies.
