Animator side of me showing tonight. I grew up watching the TV show Reboot, and Reboot Rewind did an amazing documentary series on how the show came to be. I definitely recommend watching it if you're interested on how the first 3D animated TV show came to be, as well as how far 3D modeling and animation has come along since then.
