Five years on from Samuel Paty’s beheading, Europe must stop appeasing Islamist intolerance. The right to blaspheme, to mock all gods and prophets, must never be curtailed. We have had enough of Islamic censorship, says Fraser Myers

The fact that the teaching unions in Britain were silent over this is sickening.

The muslims are assuming they now own the UK and can decide who comes into the country. Give them an inch in your country, they'll build an Islamic country on it.

The West, Europe and the UK at least, is heading into a new dark age.

The reason the knife slasher Moussa Kadri was spared jail time is that the CPS elected NOT to charge him with two serious crimes, each of which carries a non-concurrent custodial sentence. Firstly, the crime of "threat to kill" despite there being clear audio of Kadri saying this more than once and rushing into his house to retrieve a kitchen knife, clearly seen on CCTV. Secondly, the crime of "perversion of justice". Kadri was asked to provide a picture of the knife he used. He produced once of a blunt palette "knife" used to spread icing. This knife has no point or edge. It was an attempt to deceive and to pervert the course of justice. Yet the CPS elected not to charge him for either crime. This is of course not the first time that the CPS has come down heavily on a non-Muslim perpetrator and lightly on a Muslim perpetrator. In my view, the only explanation for this is that the CPS is captured by the idiotic ideology that claims "minorities are oppressed and majority population are the oppressors". WTF do we tolerate such partial prosecutions?

Empathy & Apathy are Ying & Yang. We tend to forget that there are stark contrasts between Cultures. Compassion for vagrants is a foolish pursuit. They abandoned their Cultural for reasons unknown & your Government welcomed these wolves in sheep's clothing with open arms & Subsidized them with your Tax Revenue...

The Charlie Hebdo attack: 12 people shot and killed, was motivated by an ideological and religious conflict, with the attackers targeting the satirical magazine for its controversial cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad, which they viewed as an insult to Islam. The perpetrators were aligned with a global jihadist movement that sought to intimidate the public and challenge France's secular values and free speech principles.

Agreed. To offend and be offended is all part of normal life. If someone decides to make another country their home the onus is on them to integrate.
