I just want to say this, ITV is absolutely taking the piss with removing more CITV programming from ITV2's morning schedule. Starting from 9th June, they'll be cutting down to one hour and forty-five minutes of CITV programming, which is roughly equal to twelve hours A WEEK of such shows, which is a significant cutback to broadcast kids TV from ITV. What's more insulting is the fact that ITV1 on weekends is now just showing repeats of previous shows, which is easily replaceable by anything... like CITV for example! Why is ITV insistant on doing this in favour of ITVX? It's alienating to audiences who consume this content and even more confusing when Channel 5 still continue to provide such content every single morning. What's more weird is that there's an ITVX Kids FAST channel that broadcasts this content 24/7. Wouldn't this be indifferent to broadcast TV, especially considering it's next to actual ITV channels? ITV clearly don't see children's shows as anything more than filler content and it's a problem, plus it's more annoying to see more imports and less originals on the schedule. It's been a very slow, painful and irritating death to witness in the modern era, especially considering how badly the legacy of CITV has been shit on by ITV.
