The new ‪@ElegooOfficial‬ Centauri Carbon is on preorder for just $299!! That price is wild to me. I’ve been running it for a few weeks and largely had a good experience. It’s basically everything I expect from a modern enclosed core-xy in this price bracket. My only major complaint is that bed leveling takes FOREVER (16 minutes 😳) but at this price, I can forgive that.

And it's the type of thing that can likely be improved with firmware updates or custom firmware down the line. Should be an interesting competitor in the space.

We haven't seen much on the ratrig 4... looking for my first printer... love to build one from scratch... do you think that or this is a good printer to start... also... how is the ratrig holding up and doing.. I haven't seen much after your initial build

@MartinEwald

What does it do for 16 minutes? Wait for gravitiy to level the bed?

Is there a video coming soon?

@AngelVenomous

So obviously it's something that shouldn't happen as no other printer does this especially if we consider the existence of dynamic mesh bed levelling. Did you report it to elegoo to hear their response to it?
