Can't wait. maybe we'll even get closure on "The damage model is reduced because brands don't like it" (which I think is a hoax) and "It's because they don't have the time. If they had time, the games would be released finished."

let’s fucking go. won’t get too personal, but will definitely go long lmao as a kid born in the late 90’s, robotic combat was coming in vogue during my childhood, and Battlebots and Robot Wars (UK) had always been some of the most entertaining things I’ve ever watched, but nothing in gaming, even the licensed games themselves, have ever scratched that itch. I’m excited to see what you’ve discovered, because that was one of the first things I noticed between the generational jumps, but GTA IV, V and Online in particular. My friends and I would have demolition derbies where we’d just drive into each other and beat the shit out of each other’s stolen cars until they couldn’t move in 4, and that’s something I just can’t imagine being fun because of how basic and vanilla the impacts and destruction is in 5. Even with cars meant to fully rip apart civilian vehicles and each other in the Arena War DLC, it just clips vehicles and sends them airborne, while ripping off one or two pieces of plating instead of truly warping the chassis or tearing sections of metal away— granted the game is a 12 year old 360 game. I say all of that to say I’m cautiously optimistic for GTA VI’s vehicle destruction because it’s such a niche area of interest for me, for there to be the chance for it to be capable to walk that GTA 4 line of violent but realistic, where if you have a tank and you run a car over, the car doesn’t work anymore. it’s a tank/APC vs. a sedan Sorry, that’s how it should be unless it’s online and your personal vehicle you’ve spent a lot of money on armor on, and it’s later game stuff.

I’ll give it a watch when I get home from church. Did you include rigs of rods by any chance?

I'm hoping that vehicle destruction in general is improved and better than GTA 5. GTA 5 was a downgrade in my opinion GTA 4 vehicle destruction is way better
