What a dumb thing for people to complain about it. Some people just like to be shitty for the sake of being shitty. I have never had speech issues but when I have to talk in front of people it’s like I’ve forgotten how to speak altogether. 🤦♀️ You’re doing just fine and I’m sorry you have to deal with such stupidity 💜

But, unlike you, she doesn’t acknowledge when she may be uncertain as to an ingredient’s pronunciation. You’re honest and easy to understand. One of the most annoying comments I get are when people complain about me mispronouncing words or just simply not knowing how to say a word.
No, it’s not just an easy “google the word to see how it’s pronounced”
When you have a speech issue it doesn’t matter how many times you hear a word properly pronounced, you still can’t say it right.
I was in speech class for years and I’m proud of how well I speak now. I’ve come a long way!
I deal with difficult to pronounce words everyday while working in this field. When I’m in the middle of recoding a video I don’t want to stop and look up how to pronounce the word because most likely it’s such a niche word, you can’t find a pronunciation. Even if I do find a proper pronunciation I will have to sit there for 10 minutes practicing how to pronounce it. All just for a 1 second clip on my video.
Sorry, but I just can’t pronounce some words properly. If that’s a problem, bye! 👋
