Paul Harrell has passed. And so he leave's to eat the great Pop-Tart in the sky. Heaven gained a man, but we lost a legend.

RIP Paul Harrell, incredible man and teacher. I’d prefer an AR due to its customization abilities (space for accessories, etc) and the abundance of ammo and parts for it, particularly in the US. Tried and true rifle.

I think ammo availability at the moment should push the AR15 with the deciding factor. Just my opinion.

AK...because it doesn't need parts, customization and will go bang every time!

Paul Harrell was a class act. He brought common sense, logic, and reason...blended with a sense of humor. I hope he is free of pain, and at peace.

.22 5.56, and 9mm are the most popular rounds in the United States. I can easily see these rounds becoming a staple form of currency if "doomsday" ever comes.

First thing my respects to a well respected man…. Paul Harrell 🫡🇺🇸, by the graces of God may Mr Harrell watch all of us legal firearms owners with the blessings of God. Now for the subject at hand,I chose the AR15 to the fact I was trained in its variant. The M16A2 & M4A1 (US Arm

I like the 7.62 but as far as my neighbors or Billy Joe down the road not sure they like aks so I’ll go ar15 for the ammo

A good .22LR rifle, a .357 Mag revolver, a .357 Mag Lever Rifle, a good pump shotgun in 12 ga and a scoped bolt gun in .30-06 for that long range shot. Yeah I'm old why do you ask?

Being I have the ammo supply, magazines, and live in an area that can get extremely cold and frigid: gonna be the most common rifle in the world for me dawg. Mikhail serves the man of the great white desert better than any.

Both! I learned the handling of the AK way back when, during my conscription time, in the former Eastern European commie bloc. However, I still got me an AR. There’s absolutely no harm into knowing how to handle both of them. And let’s face it: in the US, the most popular is still the AR. In case I run out of 7.62 when (not if!) SHTF, 5.56 it’s easier to procure(at least for now!)
