I am making my first attempt at SMD. I basically want to reverse engineer a daisy seed so I can do DSP based pedals but not depend on daisy seed. I have designed the circuitry and schematic but I am a bit intimidated by the pcb design having always milled my own boards using THT components exclusively. I have been a subscriber for a little while but what videos in your series would you recommend for me while I am looking at this smt32 and these audio codecs and such?

Awesome! A discrete first stage? Is that the name of the game for super low noise? I've made really low noise LNA's for strain gauge measurements but that started with a really good opamp. Looking forward to plugging this into spice!

Hello! Can you tell me, please, how to measure that noise, and most interesting, what a modern measuring instrument exists for that? I know only an old (can't buy) HP 35660A

What are the two diodes and transistor in the supply noise filter for?

This is an 1nV/rtHz LNA I've designed a today. Unfortunately, YouTube posts are very limited in resolution and aspect ratio. However, you can read the entire thing on linkedin, including better resolution schematics and simulation results.

I'm build this thing and make a video about it, will take some time though.
Best regards and happy designing,
Hans
