Qigong with Kseny

In Traditional Chinese Medicine and Taoist practice, Yin is the energy of rest, stillness, and nourishment.
It’s the cooling, hydrating, and softening force that allows us to restore, recover, and sleep deeply.

Think of the qualities of night (Yin) and day (Yang). As the sun sets, Yin begins to rise.
But that doesn’t always mean we rise with it.

Yin needs to be invited — gently, intentionally, with care.

As my teacher once said:
“It’s always easier to wake someone up than to help them fall asleep.”
And it’s true. Yin is harder to cultivate.
It asks us to slow down, to let go — which is why we create rituals that help the body and mind shift from doing… to simply being.

Today’s new 15-minute Qigong practice is one of those quiet invitations:
🌙 Slow stretches to release tension from the chest, shoulders, and lower back
🌙 Gentle shaking to clear energy stagnation
🌙 Foot massage to draw energy downward and settle the mind

These slow, light movements before bed help calm the Heart, soothe the nervous system, and guide us gently inward.
