Congratulations! I recently thought I would go back to school for a degree in psychology, but was denied admission into a program. This lead me to doubt if this was what I was called to do, but seeing your post at this moment makes me feel like I should continue. I can’t wait to see you continue to grow and follow your passion!

Full Circle Moment 🌟
In May 2017, I embarked on a journey to earn my bachelor’s degree in psychology with the dream of becoming a therapist. At the time, where I am today seemed like a distant dream. Just one week into my studies, I lost one of my closest childhood friends who had encouraged me to return to school and rediscover myself after starting my life over. Her sudden passing became a core part of my drive and determination.
Fast forward to May 2020, at the height of the pandemic, I completed my undergraduate courses and earned my bachelors degree in psychology. However, I had to wait until August 7th, 2021, to celebrate my achievement at a commencement ceremony. Today marks the anniversary of that commencement and the LAST DAY OF SUMMER SCHOOL in my graduate program. This is my final summer of grad school and I begin my FINAL YEAR of my graduate program in just two weeks.
Bonus: In two days, on August 9th, my dear friend Jess @jes_boo, who passed away when I first began this journey, celebrates her heavenly birthday.
This full-circle moment reminds me of my journey and keeps me motivated. Almost there! c/o 2025 💪🏾
