@Spidermagic30

Brass Construction (Movin, Peekin, Changin, Love, Talkin, Dance). Some of the tastiest tracks I ever heard and a heavy influence of my choice of deep house tracks.

Double Exposure "Ten Percent "(1976) I was a senior in high school. From my part time job working at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Wore the LP out and got my younger sisters to love it, too. I managed to kill the cassette and a CD!😅 Bought another CD about 25 years ago at the now defunct Tower Records store in Mid-town Manhattan on the west side not too far from the Juilliard School. Still have that CD. Downloaded it onto my I-Pod Nano and bought it on Apple music. I guess you can say, I kind of liked it.

I may be in the minority here (cause I'm only mid-30s) but mine was Lisa Stansfield's debut album titled "Affection". I was in the 5th grade, my mom took me to the record store and I spent my allowance money on that CD; I specifically bought it for Lisa's signature hit song "All Around the World" and it's STILL being played on the radio to this day. I've heard it on the radio so many times, I fell in love with it. And nearly 22-23 years later, that CD surprisingly STILL works cause I've literally worn out the repeat button playing that song (and driving my mom crazy, LOL)

My brother came back from Vietnamese and he came home with hundreds of LP’s so I had a great start on what music was. So when I bought Bootsy home everyone said I was crazy!! Well I’m laughing at them bc the funk will always be here.
