🖐️🖐️ Hello everyone, I would like to ask you, what value do you give to information and sources when viewing comparisons either in my channel or in others? Do you consider important that the information is of quality, above other aspects such as the visual?

I have always worked hard to be as thorough as possible in representing the information in each video. I think this is very important in this kind of content.

I wait for your answers, have a nice day!

@Matoyak

On scientific things (size of planets, cities, etc), accuracy and quality of reference is of utmost importance, since you're essentially doing Science Communication. For the fictional stuff (DBZ Character size comparisons, One Piece, etc) the visuals matter more than pure accuracy.

I have a request for a video. How about making a video of fictional asteroid impacts? Even the asteroids from Armageddon and Deep Impact?

@tehli6726

Depends on the content. If it's about fantasy stuff then less, otherwise more

What will the next video be about?

Honestly, you have taken the comparisons to a new level, levels that we, as human beings could understand, means, you show the size of us compared to the objects; the graphics, animation, everything has been good for me, I don't have any problem; keep doing what you are doing man, that's top!!!👌🏻👌

For me, that the information provided is vital, without that it would be simply a cute renders channel, of which there are hundreds ... I do not say that the visual aspect does not matter, but if they simply put (for example) space ships without a context of sizes, the Phalanx of Warhammer would be the same as the Starfury of Babylon 5... The data and the scales import and give dynamism to the videos.

It depends on the type of video, but typically I really expect nearly everything to be perfect, especially if it's science related. Certainly other things can vary and unable to be as accurate, but geez, missing multiple things by factors of 10 and stuff like that will make me never watch the channel again. It's usually obvious when it's something that shouldn't be in the actual video if any effort was given. 😊🌎♥️

Sources for fictional objects like spaceships in movies or games, I don't care. But for facts like humans aspects or real objects, sources ares not mandatory but appreciate.

It may be tempting to cheat. You see some new up and comer posting slop and get away with it. But that's temporary. Look at LTT and their major setback when quality concerns finally caught up to them. And they actually addressed the situation and fixed things but still lost subscribers. Reputation matters in the age of social media.

I don't think that this is a reliable poll. The question is not if we want the best information available. We were m want the best information, who would want anything else? As usual, the interesting question is about the balance? How much do we value information vs other aspects. In order to get better information, would we be willing to: * Have videos less often, because it takes the author more time to get the data? * Need to pay for the videos? * Have less interesting videos, because of all the disclaimers needed to correctly explain the data...

I often rewind the video to make sure I saw the information properly. I understand that it can be difficult to get the actual numbers and I greatly appreciate it when you indicate if the numbers are estimates.

I've always considered accurate information to be very important. Presentation is also significant, but when it comes to presenting real information, I think it should be as accurate as possible. Really appreciate the effort you put into your videos!

@cl5470

I think the context matters. When you're comparing fictional things like monsters or space ships, I am not worried about it being totally accurate. It's just fun to imagine what these things would look like in real life. When the comparisons are about real life, things like GDP, molecule sizes, or things with measurements or distances, I would prefer it to be as accurate as possible.

Can you give me links to your past videos that you think are good examples of the first and third multiple choice responses? Then I can give you a more considered opinion. Thanks!

Correctness of info is important. ReigarW spread lots and LOTS of misinformation when they were active because they cared more about escalation than genuine data. While visual spectacle is great and something you excel at, it's important that it also shows as accurate a picture as is reasonable.

Your thoroughness in giving sources and information is one of the reasons I subscribed here.

@Montaq_

Of course it's important. If the information isn't accurate then what's the point?
