I absolutely love Amplitube 5! The tones are staggering, zero latency recording too

Softube’s Amp Room Vintage Suite and the Stand alone Marshalls, mainly the Bluesbreaker one.

Neural DSP has made it super easy to get all sorts of tones for cheap, love their stuff.

I love my Helix. So many different possibilities and adding the pedal board makes it really quick and easy to switch between.

I'm using the amp sim in Cubase for tracking guitars sometimes. If it's only for demos or re-amping, it's easily good enough.

I use plugins. Lots of companies out there making great amp sims. Some of my favorites are made by Nembrini Audio, ML Sound Lab, Softube, Scuffham Amps, and Neural DSP.

Owned a kemper for a few years. Sometimes I love it sometimes I hate it. Sometimes it sounds fantastic. Sometimes it sound shite. I've been meaning to pick up a QC for a while, but kinda feel like i would be cheating on my kemper 😂

Started with the line6 pod X after touring with them teching for ska pack band Goldfinger and hearing how cool they sounded back then, the. Had a fractal , a head rush then a Kemper , now a tonex cos it’s small and I can keep in it tool box for show emergencies side of stage . But now there’s kick ass neural amp modelling apps on the killer new iPads so that may even be surpassed by my iPad m3 running GigFast

For bass I just re-amp into my own pedals. Like the Keeley bassist and darkglass x (for medium scale basses) or Sansamp bassdriver. It's different with every instrument. After that just some cabinet simulation that works nicely with the high end.

In case of plugins I usually combine Amplitube 5 and TH-U and feel pretty good with it)

Kemper when I need a tone quick with no loud amps. Works great apart from that recurring reset time date ball ache.

I use Amplitube way more than ToneX. But since they are kinda integrated now, I picked ToneX.

I use mainly NAM and the new Two Notes Genome these days (which has a NAM Player in it itself)
