Fructus Illustrations
From my first fall page to my latest one 🍎🍁🚜
I created this coloring book back in 2023 and the first ever page I colored in was the Apple Picking page and as you can see, I didn’t add any details and mainly just colored in the space with flat base colors. Some areas are uneven and blotchy too. Fast forward to now, my latest page is the Hay Ride page and the difference is undeniable. I now add so much more details with textures, highlights and shadows. I’ve gotten better at coloring in large areas more smoothly and my more recent pages are more colorful and I think more interesting to look at. And the funny thing is that I’m still using the same exact markers (I do now have/use acrylic markers though 🤭) so it’s not always about using better materials or supplies but instead about practice and learning new techniques 🖍️💕
