@JohnnyStar at the end of your video on Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, you make a comment about how it does a better job at being FLCL than the official "sequels" to which I agree with you.
Recently I thought both IPs and that led me to a possible idea for a video
"Scott Pilgrim is Canada's FLCL"
If I may, let me show you why that is the case.
• The original OVA consists of six episodes • The original story consists of six volumes • Both IPs feature a Rickenbacker bass guitar • Mabase and Toronto were seemingly ordinary towns until these mysterious girls (Haruko and Ramona) showed up and things start to get weird • Scott fighting the evil exes is not unlike Naota having to face the robots that come out of his head • Both IPs also have unique tastes in music • FLCL using The Pillows, while Bryan Lee O'Malley has an eclectic collection of indie-rock music that greatly inspired him when creating Scott Pilgrim
These are excellent bullet points to go on if you or anyone for that matter is interested in turning this into a full on video.
