Insomniac Productions

For those who have followed my content for a while and who know the messages I convey in my content, this post should come as no surprise to you. As much as I wish to be the bigger person and take the high road, I say the following things with nothing but due disrespect:

If you voted for Donald Trump in this election, unsubscribe from me.
If you voted for a non-viable third-party candidate, unsubscribe from me.
If you have every ability to vote and simply CHOSE not to, unsubscribe from me.

If you have done any of these things, you have fueled a hatred for me and the people in my community who have been struggling for basic human rights for decades. If you have done these things, you are no longer welcome in my community, which I have cultivated to be a safe space for people like me. If you have done these things, you are part of the reason why I will likely not be able to post my usual content for months while I work to get someplace safe in preparation for what is to come. If you have done these things, you have shown that you see me and a good amount of my community that we are not human beings to you.

So, with all due disrespect, get the hell out.

And with nothing but love and hope, to all those who are like me and will have to fight even harder to exist in this world, this will remain a safe place for you. I will forever be thinking of you and praying for safety for all of you. I am so proud of all of you for being here, and I hope that every single one of you will find a way to be safe as our country changes. I love you, dearies, and I will keep you updated on the future of this channel; even if it takes a while, I am going to come back to making content for people like us. May all your dreams be sweet in the meantime!

@BasicallyS0ra

I still cannot believe that people can actually support a man like Trump, I may not be old enough to vote, but I know who is and was the much better choice for president, we all have each other’s backs here.

I'm from Europe and I didn't get to vote. I have the fullest respect for you as I wished for the other party to win. I can't wait until you upload again.

As a Canadian I am disgusted to see people defending Donald Trump.

I live with two tr*mp parents and couldn’t be more disgusted with them. I don’t think I can ever forgive them. I am a bi-gender asexual person who wants rights for ME AND FOR ALL. I am so ashamed with the voters of him in this country. I tried to do my part and I proudly voted blue this election. Pls stay safe and as healthy as possible. 💙

Been going back and forth will people at my school all day, and having men comment on my TikTok’s form MONTHS ago saying “your body my choice.” It makes me sick, and unsafe. I’m happy you’re able to get somewhere safe, take all the time you need. We’ll be here for you when you get back always. 💙

Cannot express enough the amount of sympathy I feel for you over there (I live in the UK). My mother is friends with an American who's already looking into making her vacation to Scotland a permanent one. I understand that's not an option for everyone, but please, everyone who's affected, do whatever you need to to be as safe as possible!

As someone who wasn’t born in the U.S. along with my parents are worried for what’ll happen to us. My little brother is the only one who’s born here and everything else that is happening we’re all worried for each other. I hope we all continue to stay strong💪🏼

I have a feeling this is gonna be a lot like Bush's second term; I may not have been old enough to really "be there for it," but from what I was told, he got a surprisingly big win, was unsurprisingly awful, lost the Congressional majority in the midterms, and we went Blue again after his shitty term was over and he left with a very low approval rating. To reiterate, based on the information I was given from people who experienced that, I have a feeling this is gonna be a lot like Bush's second term. This time, it's gonna be measurably more extreme, though I doubt it's gonna go fully crazy on the level of Hungary or Russia (though I'm sure Orban and Putin would love that.)

It’s time like this that make me say to myself “why is that people can’t seem to act like decent human beings and things like this don’t divide us” but unfortunately we don’t live in such a world. I just hope that one day someone will genuinely make things better and not for their own gain. Anyway I hope you and everyone find a solid safe space and mental state, and I’ll be patiently waiting for your return.

I hope you and everyone one who will suffer from this year’s election will continue to live happy lives, as someone who could vote but moved away from my home town made it harder to do so and I was unable to cast my vote, ai stand with you in this point of view. Anyone who will suffer has my condolences and you can chat with me if you need someone to vent to

I’m still feeling so much grief and anger over everything. I truly thought this country was finally coming together to make the necessary changes to progress forward. It’s incredibly humbling and heartbreaking to realize just how alive hatred and intolerance is. You are not alone in these feelings. Do what you have to do for your safety and wellbeing. We will always be here waiting for you💗

@Anna-o8e5o

As a girl who comes from an immigrant family, it makes me very scared to be living in this country. My parents work really hard to make a better life for me and my siblings. To see the hate that this man has for people like us is just really hurtful. Plus, it doesn’t help that I’m a part of the LGBTQ community (by any chance, if you wanted to know, I’m bi), which he has shown a clear hatred for. And his plans on getting rid of abortion make me feel so horrible. I have a right as a woman to do what I want to do with my body because it’s my body. Sorry, I just wanted to share my own opinion because I didn’t really get the chance to tell anyone how I felt. Thank you to those who took the time to read this.
