Now let me tell you how I ended up at the shelter. It all started when I got injured. Since my situation was a dog's dinner, I sought refuge in a house in the little village I was at. Life was tough then... I had a lucky break, because German people lived there and they didn't turn me away, like so many others had. They decided to take care of me. You know, vet visit, scrumptious food, comfy bed... Oohhh I so love a soft bed... Every dog has its day and mine finally seemed to have arrived! I settled in my new life and loved it. But then disaster struck again. The German family was returning to their country, I had nowhere to go. Now, believe you me, I'm a sweet old lady, I really am, but nobody wanted a senior pup like me... Heartbreaking! I didn't know it then, but the German family were just as worried and frantically searching for a home for me. After numerous attempts and refusals, they found Jutta shelter who said yes! Myself and my young friend Bobbyra had a place to go to. It's nice to know you're wanted and I'm so grateful to be here!
