“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” May his home going be a sweet reminder that death’s sting has been defeated. May God comfort you with his love and peace.

I am filled with admiration and appreciation for your dad. Chuck Girard has been one of those rare leaders who has changed the course of Christianity in our generation. Probably one of his greatest achievements was sitting in front of a keyboard, singing the gospel to the people of San Francisco, where I was privileged to pastor for over 33 years. No big crowds, huge applause or outward rewards, but the applause and celebration of the heavenly host, as broken people heard the gospel, some for the first time. Well done, good and faithful!!!

Chuck Girard was the first Christian concert I attended at The Lamb’s Club in Times Square after I gave my life to Christ in the mid 1970s. Prayers for your family.

Alisa, I’m praying for your family at this time of your grief. I came to Christ in 1979 and listened to your Dad’s beautiful music and was blessed. I’ve been following your podcast for the past several years and have learned so much about all of the false doctrines to watch out for. Thank you for all you do for the Lord. I love you!!

Your dad, Chuck Girard, was one of the people who introduced me to Jesus music as it was called so long ago. It affected my Christian walk in the best possible way. Prayers going up for you and your family.

I held my dad’s hand as he went to be with Jesus in February of this year. He also died because of the ravages of cancer. It was a beautiful gift from God being there with him as he ended his journey on this earth and entered Paradise. I pray for your father’s home going to be relatively painless. I also pray for peace and comfort for all of you who love him. ❤️

Father comfort these dear saints as they go through this. It hurts, and there is great sorrow all around. Please bring supernatural peace and calm and just meet everyone at their place of need, I ask you, Lord, in Jesus' mighty name, Amen ❤️.

My dear dad passed away just over 7 months ago; we have joy knowing he is in Heaven, but it is still not an easy journey. Praying peace that surpasses all understanding for all of you. Take care of yourself as well.

What a legacy your amazing Dad, Chuck Girard has passed on to you and your family ! He was a true pioneer in the Jesus movement where I and many other "Boomers" came to faith in Jesus as Messiah in 1970!

Oh man. Praying for you and your family. I lost my dad in 2017. Amazing man of God. He's home and healed, for which I'm grateful. But I'll always miss him. Thanks for letting us know so that we can pray.

Your Dad was a major influence in what I wanted to do with my life 45 years ago. I saw him in January in Nashville and he was very friendly - we are definitely praying for you all.❤

Alisa, I know what you’re going through. My father went home to be with Jesus earlier this year after years of health problems after a stroke and being on hospice. My heart goes out to you and your family, and prayers to our sovereign and loving Father to shower y’all and your dear father with every blessing from above. ❤️ Praise Jesus for the hope we have in Him!

So sorry to hear this. I recall seeing Love Song (and buying their album) as a young teenager visiting Calvary Chapel in the early/mid 70's. Your dad is the real deal. Praying for you and the family.

Praying for you and your family Alisa. My father is also walking through a cancer journey. It is difficult to lose a loved one. Soon, the Lord will call him home and say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
