I have over the years gone from 7 mm rem mag to 300 win mag, 30-06 and now find my 308 win more than capable. I’ve sold off those other rifles and invested more into one good hunting rifle. I never make shots over 200 yards anyway, though I know I can reach out a little further.

Biggest debate question of all time. All I can say is .22 or the 30-30 has taken more game than all of them. Everyone has there experience and opinions. And they all have their place

A animal doesn't know if it was hit by a 300prc or a 30-06. I've had a 300win, 300rum and I still have my old meat axe 30-06. I've made some amazing shots with all of them. It all boils down to Shot placement, shot placement shot placement

Ive always been partial to the 300 WSM just cause that’s what I grew up using took two bull elk and my mule deer this year with it puts everything I point at down. Have been curious about that 300 PRC though. How have you liked it so far Erik?

Why are there cartridges listed when the question clearly states caliber? The only correct answer listed is 7mm.

“Caliber” is just the size of the hole. Words mean things.

7mm rem mag is a good middle ground if you’re looking to kill elk sized game…..anything smaller I’ll stick with my 6.5PRC.
