Feeling alone, with no one to share your thoughts with, can be suffocating and deeply painful. I’ve made more than four friends, but the outcome was something I struggle to put into words. I hesitated to share this, but I feel it’s time to open up. In today’s world, finding someone who genuinely makes you feel happy and loved is incredibly challenging. When we form friendships, we hope for kindness and support when sharing our struggles. But what happens when, instead of feeling loved, you’re made to feel guilty? This has been my experience too often. I’m not claiming to be a perfect friend, but I strive not to hurt others’ feelings. I offer comfort rather than harsh realities. If you have a friend who promises, “I’ll never leave you,” and keeps that promise, you’re truly the luckiest person alive.
All I’ve ever wanted is to feel loved and cherished, like part of a family. But here’s the truth: I’ve stopped trusting people. I now carry deep trust issues because of those who’ve left me. To them, I say, “If you’ve walked away, stay gone. Don’t message me or try to come back. I’m fine alone. You’ve given me enough reasons to distrust others, and for that, I thank you.”
My dear friends, I urge you to be cautious. Not everyone deserves your loyalty or your loving nature. Guard yourself against those who aren’t what they seem. I’ll say it again: in this generation, having trust issues is necessary. Be careful, stay safe, and avoid the snakes.
Thank you for listening. I love you all so much. 🫂💗
