What illness does she have? I adopted a 16 yr old Flerken, aka Missy (see photo) a few years back with advanced kidney failure. She's the best roommate I could ask for. She cost about $8 a day to keep happy and healthy (dry food, wet food, litter, fluids, tubing, needles, vet apt 2x a year to obtain perscription meds/food/blood panel every 6 months). She's worth every penny.

Magic is doing so much better. She's sitting on my desk today "helping" me edit my book. But she's so alert, and happy looking. We've got a follow up appointment with the vet on Wednesday to learn more about the condition she was diagnosed with at the Emergency Vet. But from what I know, I think it's going to be all okay. She's only 7 so should still have a full life ahead of her.
I want to again thank everyone who sent me well wishes. I was extremely concerned she wasn't going to make it for a while there.
